Scripture – John 15:13
On November 11th, we remember ALL veterans who have ever served our country – in any capacity. We honor the heroes, of course, but we also honor the support personnel, the cooks, the chaplains, the medical personnel – everyone. In doing so, we remember that every veteran must be prepared to die for our country. In doing this, each of them embodies the passage from John’s Gospel in which Jesus said, “Greater love hath no one than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
