Scripture readings – Matthew 7:24-27
Theme: Jesus chose Simon upon whom he would build his church; he changed his name to something we more commonly recognize: “Peter” – the Rock. Jesus asks us to build our faith upon the solid rock of his words. Without it, we cannot hope to stand against the calamities of this world.
