Scripture – Romans 8: 1-11
Theme: This passage from Paul’s letter to the Romans describes the struggle between living under the flesh and living under the Spirit. Although the passage describes a clear, simple choice, living in our world today involves more than just making that choice. It is difficult to live in the Spirit without the support and help from a trusted community of believers. The Lord never tells us to check out brains at the door. Being supported as a Christian is not the same as being coerced, judged, or forced.
