Scripture – John 15: 13
Theme: On Memorial Day, we remember and honor our heroes – the special men and women who died in service to our country. We admire their bravery and sacrifice. We should also remember that our greatest hero is Jesus Christ. In both cases, the words from John’s Gospel are true: “Greater love hath no one than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
