TODAY!

We have received a signed contract to purchase our church property located on West Road near Greenhouse Road.
Our Book of Order says only a congregation can sell church property, so Session has called a congregational meeting to be held today immediately following our worship service.  Please make plans to join us either in person or via Zoom.

Each year we purchase Christmas poinsettias from Brookwood to enhance our worship space in the Lodge’s Ballroom.  We will NOT be using order forms this year, but you may still order one of these beautiful plants.  They are $8.00 each.  Payment can be placed in the offering box on Sundays OR you may mail a check to the church office.  If you pay on-line, please send Pastor Mark an email so that the funds will be distributed accurately.  After our Christmas Eve service, you may take your plant home.  Check with either Elder Carol Beverlin or Pastor Mark if you have questions.

Thank you for your generosity in giving to our annual Christmas Jar mission project!  We will let you know the total amount as soon as all the donations are received.  This will go to help four families at Postma Elementary School have a Merrier Christmas.

Coming on Sunday, December 20th: The Christmas Joy Gift

A nativity scene with the birth of jesus.

This offering is traditionally collected by Heritage near the end of the Advent season.  A gift to the Christmas Joy Offering helps provide financial assistance to current and former church workers and their families and also enables deserving students to attend Presbyterian-related racial ethnic colleges and schools.

On December 1st, the deposit was $1935.00 from our tithes and offerings. Remember you can also give on-line. Check with your bank or on the GIVING section of our church webpage.

And don’t forget that if you shop on Amazon, use their parallel website AmazonSmile.  A portion of the sale will be donated to our church.
When you access this website for the first time, you will be prompted to identify our church at the end of your transaction.  It is an easy way to donate to HPC – and it won’t cost you anything extra.

This is especially convenient while Christmas shopping!
