Scripture – Proverbs 27:17
Theme: The Sunday immediately following Easter Sunday is traditionally (and sarcastically) referred to as “Low Sunday.” This means the attendance for worship will be LOW on that particular Sunday. Other Sundays follow the same pattern: Sunday after Christmas, Thanksgiving, Fourth of July, etc.
But if it were not for these occasions, I would not have been invited to preach at other churches as often when I was first starting in ministry. And if Christians don’t go to church, how can they “sharpen their iron?”
