“I was glad when I heard them say let us go to the house of the Lord!”  (Psalm 122:1)

Ezekiel 34: 11-16, 20-24 (The Lord, the True Shepherd)

Matthew 25: 31-46 (Judgment of Nations)

Sermon: “Good King Jesus the First”

Theme: Throughout history, any king that acquired the nickname “Good” in front of his name was beloved by his subjects.  This was not usually given officially, but rather it was given by the common people until it stuck.  Common people do not give undying love to someone who is unfair, cruel, strict, or unwavering…they give love to a king who loves them first.  This title fits Jesus perfectly!
